At Vocento I was the designer the newsrooms leaned on when something had to be both rigorous and beautiful. My role was to keep a dozen regional titles coherent while giving each big moment its own voice, whether that was maintaining the design system behind the news apps or turning election nights and climate reporting into something readers could actually navigate. I worked the way I like to: research first, close to the newsroom, and close to development, so the work held up on every screen and actually shipped.
